Tehosekoitin

Good old rock’n’roll never goes out of style, and thank goodness for that. Tehosekoitin, one of Finland’s most beloved and influential rock bands of the turn of the millennium, is returning to the stage with its original-era line-up. And lucky for all of us, they’re bringing their rock’n’roll magic to Ilosaarirock this July!

Few bands have managed to capture the joy, bittersweet nostalgia and reckless spirit of youth in quite as many unforgettable songs as Tehosekoitin. Asfaltti polttaa, C’mon baby yeah, Valonkantaja, Kaikki nuoret tyypit and countless other hits are so deeply ingrained in Finland’s collective musical memory that practically everyone knows the words, even those who swear they couldn’t name a single Tehosekoitin song.

Whether you were belting out Tehosekoitin classics decades ago or only discovered their infectious rock’n’roll yesterday, there’s a place for you at their Ilosaarirock show. C’mon baby yeah!
