The shirtless party professor beloved by the entire nation, Käärijä, is making his feverishly awaited return to the Ilosaarirock stage! After taking the public vote by storm at Eurovision 2023 and launching into global fame, Käärijä has been breaking boundaries, streaming records and expectations at a pace that shows no signs of slowing down. And thank goodness for that.

Käärijä’s music is a gloriously unruly mix of rave-fueled energy, rap rhythms and the electric charge of rock. Add in lyrics laced with wild humour, and you’ve got a formula that’s pure gold – and unmistakably Käärijä. His chaotic charisma has left its mark from Polvijärvi to Paris and Enontekiö to Edinburgh, and with good reason. His previous Ilosaarirock performance back in 2023 was such a massive draw that special arrangements had to be made to fit the crowd.

What kind of show – with a couple of surprises up its sleeves – Käärijä will bring us this summer remains to be seen. But it’s safe to say: it won’t go unnoticed.
