Ilosaarirock is an all-ages festival. However, we recommend that underage visitors attend the festival with a guardian. Children under 13 can enter Ilosaarirock only when accompanied by a guardian who has their own ticket.
Ilosaarirock offers separate youth and children's tickets. Youth tickets are for festival-goers aged 13–17, and children’s tickets are for kids aged 8–12 who attend the festival together with their guardian. The age of those with a youth or a children’s ticket will be checked when exchanging the ticket for a wristband.
Children under 8 years old can visit Ilosaarirock for free on one day of their choice when accompanied by a guardian. The guardian must have their own ticket valid for the same festival day.
Some Ilosaarirock services, such as all bar areas and the two separate VIP areas, are age-restricted. The age limit for these areas is 18.

Ticket prices are valid until further notice. All Ilosaarirock ticket prices are subject to Ticketmaster’s order fees and possible payment fees.
Ilosaarirock offers separate three-day and one-day youth as well as one-day children's tickets.
Youth tickets are for festival-goers aged 13–17. We recommend that minors attend the festival with a guardian. The age of those with a youth ticket will be checked when exchanging the ticket for a wristband. For example, anyone with a three-day youth ticket must be 13–17 years old when the festival begins on Friday 17 July 2026.
Children’s tickets are for kids aged 8–12 who attend the festival together with their guardian. A child ticket does not grant access to the festival area without a guardian. The guardian must have their own ticket valid for the same festival day. The age of those with a children’s ticket will be checked when exchanging the ticket for a wristband.
Children under 8 years old can visit Ilosaarirock for free on one day of their choice when accompanied by a guardian. The guardian must have their own ticket valid for the same festival day. The child’s age must be proven upon request with an ID or other official document.
If you are coming to Ilosaarirock with children, please enjoy the festival on their terms and provide them with a safe and, above all, substance-free festival experience.
Official Ilosaarirock tickets are sold exclusively by Ticketmaster. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster’s online store, mobile app or at physical Ticketmaster outlets.
In the Joensuu area, Ilosaarirock tickets are sold at the Ticketmaster outlet located inside Ravintola Aiho in Lehmo. Only Ilosaarirock tickets are available for purchase at this location.
At Aiho, you can pay using most major debit and credit cards, cash and most common culture benefits (Epassi, Smartum and Edenred). Ticketmaster’s service fees will be added to the ticket price. When paying with a culture benefit, an additional payment method fee of 10€ will also be added at Aiho.
To make your visit to Aiho that bit smoother, we recommend creating a Ticketmaster account before heading to the ticket shop.
For reselling or purchasing resale tickets, we recommend using only our ticketing partner's official resale platform, Ticketmaster Resale. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets bought from third parties and are not responsible for any damages caused by fraud or attempted fraud.
You can also buy Ilosaarirock tickets using culture benefits. The Ticketmaster online store accepts Epassi, Edenred and Zevoy as payment methods.
Epassi in the Ticketmaster online store
Ilosaarirock tickets can be purchased with Epassi through Ticketmaster’s separate Epassi ticket shop.
How to buy a ticket with Epassi:
- Go to the Ticketmaster Epassi ticket shop at epassi.tmtickets.fi.
- Create a new customer account for the Epassi ticket shop or log in with your existing credentials. Please note that the Epassi ticket shop requires its own account – you cannot log in with your regular Ticketmaster account.
- Find Ilosaarirock in the event list and click Buy tickets (Osta liput).
- Choose the ticket type you want and complete your purchase.
Because culture benefits are personal, you can buy only one ticket through the Epassi ticket shop. Please note that youth or children’s tickets cannot be purchased with Epassi.
Ticket prices are the same as in the Ticketmaster store, but an additional Epassi payment fee will be added to your order total.
If your culture benefit balance does not cover the full ticket price, you can add your own funds (Epassi OmaRaha) to your Epassi account via the Epassi website. Other payment methods cannot be used in the Ticketmaster Epassi ticket shop.
Tickets purchased from the Epassi ticket shop are delivered to your email as a PDF ticket. The email also includes a download link that lets you add the ticket to your phone’s wallet app. Please note that tickets bought through the Epassi ticket shop will not appear in the Ticketmaster app and cannot be opened there.
Edenred and Zevoy in the Ticketmaster online store
Ilosaarirock tickets can be purchased with Edenred Virike or Zevoy Benefits through Ticketmaster’s separate Edenred ticket shop.
How to buy a ticket with Edenred or Zevoy Benefits:
- Go to the Edenred ticket shop at ticketmaster.fi/explore/kulttuurietu.
- Search for Ilosaarirock, click the event, and press Find tickets.
- Choose the ticket type you want and add it to your cart.
- Log in or create a new Ticketmaster account.
- Complete your payment.
Because culture benefits are personal, you can buy only one ticket through the Edenred ticket shop. Please note that youth or children’s tickets cannot be purchased with Edenred or Zevoy Benefits.
Ticket prices are the same as in the Ticketmaster store, but a €5 service fee per order will be added when paying with Edenred or Zevoy Benefits.
If your culture benefit does not cover the full ticket price, you can pay the remaining amount with a Ticketmaster gift card.
Tickets purchased from the Edenred ticket shop will be delivered using the delivery method you choose, and they will also appear in your Ticketmaster account.
Culture benefits at physical ticket outlets
In addition to the online store, Ilosaarirock tickets can be purchased with common culture benefits (such as Epassi, Smartum and Edenred) at Ticketmaster ticket outlets. Please note that each outlet decides which benefits they accept.
You can check your nearest Ticketmaster outlet on the Ticketmaster website, and confirm with your benefit provider whether your culture benefit is accepted at the outlet you plan to use.
In the Joensuu region, Ilosaarirock tickets are sold at the Ticketmaster outlet located in Ravintola Aiho in Lehmo. This outlet sells Ilosaarirock tickets only. Accepted payment methods at Aiho include most debit and credit cards, cash, and common culture benefits (Epassi, Smartum and Edenred). Any applicable Ticketmaster order fees will be added to the ticket price. When paying with a culture benefit, an additional payment method fee of €10 will be added at Aiho.

Ilosaarirock offers three-day VIP tickets as well as one-day VIP tickets. All ticket types are now available for purchase. All Ilosaarirock VIP tickets are strictly 18+, as the VIP areas are located within age-restricted bar zones.
Your VIP ticket includes regular festival admission, access to Ilosaarirock’s comfortable VIP areas, and a range of exclusive services designed to make your festival experience smooth and enjoyable. Please note that food and drinks are not included in the ticket price.
Ilosaarirock VIP includes two separate VIP areas, both located near the festival’s main stages. Each area offers stylishly designed lounges, top-quality services and convenient water-flush toilets.
Original Long Drink VIP
Original Long Drink VIP is a two-story building rising next to the Main Stage, surrounded by a cozy courtyard with the best views of both the stage and the crowd. The ground floor features a well-stocked bar, and the yard offers plenty of comfortable seating for enjoying the performances or simply soaking up those perfect summer days. The area also has its own indoor toilet facilities to keep your festival flow uninterrupted.
Star VIP
Star VIP, located beside the YleX Stage, is a relaxed spot to unwind, enjoy gigs, sip drinks and socialise. It connects directly to the exclusive VIP front row: a viewing area reserved just for VIP guests right in front of the YleX Stage. The terrace and grassy seating areas provide space for both celebrating and taking it easy.
All VIP customers must exchange their tickets for a personal VIP wristband before entering the festival area. The wristband is attached directly to your wrist at the exchange point, meaning it can’t be collected on behalf of someone else.
With your VIP wristband, you can enter the festival quickly through dedicated VIP lanes at the main gate and security check. Larger belongings can be left at the cloakroom’s VIP counter near the main entrance.
Ilosaarirock does not offer a separate companion or personal assistant's ticket, but all festival visitors who need an assistant or use mobility aids may bring an assistant or an interpreter to the festival free of charge. You don’t need to book the free companion or interpreter ticket in advance, it can simply be picked up at the festival info point upon arrival.
All Ilosaarirock tickets are exchanged for wristbands before entering the festival area. The guest and their companion can exchange their tickets for wristbands at the festival info point. Wristbands are always attached directly to the customer’s wrist, so they cannot be collected on someone else’s behalf.
We don’t require a separate certificate of disability. However, an EU Disability Card or a doctor’s note can make things easier at the info point if the disability is not visible.
If you’ve already purchased an Ilosaarirock ticket, you can upgrade it to cover more festival days or switch from a standard ticket to a VIP ticket by paying the price difference between the tickets, as well as any additional service fees charged by Ticketmaster.
Upgrading or changing a ticket is handled directly through Ticketmaster’s customer service. You can contact consumer customer service by filling out this form or by calling +358 600 10 800 (2.00 €/min + local network charge). Phone service is available Mon–Fri 8:00–21:00, Sat 9:00–18:00 and Sun 10:00–18:00.
Ilosaarirock tickets cannot be downgraded or exchanged for tickets with a shorter duration: for example, a three-day regular ticket cannot be exchanged for a one-day VIP ticket.
By purchasing a ticket and attending Ilosaarirock, you agree to the festival’s terms and conditions. These include, among others, the ticket terms, the festival’s photography policy, and various safety practices such as our Rokkietiketti, which outlines our safer space principles.

We reserve the right to make changes to Ilosaarirock’s lineup, schedules, and other arrangements. Any changes will be announced immediately. In line with standard live music industry practices, festival tickets cannot be refunded due to the cancellation of individual artists, and no compensation will be provided for such changes.
Please note that Ilosaarirock's festival tickets cannot be used as prizes in competitions or giveaways without the explicit written permission of the festival organiser.
