Seven new artists added

The lineup for summer's best weekend is now almost complete – just one more artist to go!

Ilosaarirock’s already diverse lineup just got seven fresh additions. Among them are Irish indie rock newcomer Florence Road (IE), performing in Finland for the very first time, last year’s most-streamed Finnish pop artist Isac Elliot, and metal powerhouse Lost Society, who recently released their sixth full-length album.

Also joining the bill are the unpredictably fun indie outfit Hopeasiivet, one of Finland’s most exciting alternative rap artists keiju, internationally acclaimed synth-pop duo Modem, and genre-blending wildcard Nenerchy, firing on all cylinders with punk, rap, and drum & bass.

– Our lineup is just about complete with these fresh new additions. We’re still looking for one more act for Friday, and we’ve got feelers out all over the world. We’re not taking the easy route, we’re building this one carefully! But honestly, this lineup already feels like something to celebrate, says our promoter Panu.

So there you have it – just one name still missing, but it’s already more than enough to get the party started! We’ll announce the final addition as soon as the artist is confirmed.
