Thank you for summer's best weekend

A heartfelt thank-you to all 65 000 of you who made the 2025 edition of Ilosaarirock so unforgettable – you are the very best part of this festival!

This year's Ilosaarirock was celebrated under (mostly) sunny skies and featured over 70 performances spanning music and art in all their glorious diversity. While Sunday afternoon brought a sudden shift in weather and a brief pause to the programme, the festival spirit never wavered – and the moment the storm clouds passed, the party picked right back up where it left off.

– This past weekend was the perfect blend of powerful performances, that one-of-a-kind Ilosaarirock vibe and even a little surprise from the Finnish summer. But above all, it was about our fantastic and clearly festival-hungry crowd – not even Sunday’s heavy rain could slow them down! When the weather drove people indoors, they turned it into a singalong and kept the magic alive right to the end, says our CEO Niina.

Ilosaarirock returns to Laulurinne in Joensuu on July 17–19, 2026. A limited batch of three-day tickets for next year’s festival will go on sale via the Ilosaarirock mobile app on Tuesday 22 July at 12 noon. Prices start at 170€, and the tickets will be available until 31 July 2025 or until they sell out.
