Timo Kämäräinen

Your favorite musician’s favorite musician is, without a doubt, Timo Kämäräinen. Known above all as a phenomenal master of the guitar, Timo is one of those Finnish artists whose golden touch as a songwriter can be seen and heard across the entire Finnish music and culture scene.

Over the years, Timo’s work has included playing in Olavi Uusivirta’s band and Ismo Alanko Säätiö, as well as releasing music under the name Ihana Leijona. In November 2025, Timo Kämäräinen released his first Finnish-language album under his own name, Laulu pelastaa. The album brings his brilliance into focus: decades of playing and songwriting experience come through in layered guitar work, a laid-back pulse, and strong, memorable melodies.
