Forget matches and lighters – Laulurinne will be set ablaze this July with a full-on flamethrower as Finland’s Eurovision duo Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen take the Ilosaarirock stage!

Back in January, international Eurovision fans took notice when violin legend Linda Lampenius and Finnish pop favorite Pete Parkkonen announced they were entering UMK together. Their entry Liekinheitin shot straight to the top of Finland’s streaming charts, quickly became a fan favorite, and ultimately secured them the title of Finland’s Eurovision representatives with a record-breaking score.

At Ilosaarirock, the duo will perform their joint material along with their own songs, reworked and performed together. Kohta sataa, Myrskyluodon Maija, but luckily for the soaked crowd, Liekinheitin will bring the heat!

Will we see a freshly crowned Eurovision winner take the stage at Laulurinne in July? That remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: a full-blown spectacle is coming.
