Volunteer at Ilosaarirock

Interested in a relaxed and approachable way to experience a music festival – one that lets you be part of Ilosaarirock and explore the world of live events? Apply to volunteer!

Volunteering at Ilosaarirock is a chance to enjoy an unforgettable festival experience – no matter your age or how familiar you are with festivals. Everyone’s welcome: first-timers, seasoned pros, juniors and seniors alike. All non-Finnish-speaking volunteers must be at least 18 years old to apply, but for Finnish-speaking volunteers, the recommended minimum age is 16.

All volunteer activities are supportive by nature, and no special skills or experience are required. If you’ve got a positive attitude and a natural smile, you’re exactly the kind of person we’re looking for.

There are volunteer opportunities in customer service, recycling and clean-up, catering, and site decoration. You can find more information about the different volunteer teams here.
