There is no better time to begin one’s festival career than as early as possible. This is also the opinion of the siblings Valo (1 year) and Myrsky (4 years).

Don’t let the young age confuse you: this is not even Myrsky’s first time at a festival. The ethnic Faces festival has been conquered already in previous years. Ilosaarirock 2006 is - quite understandably - Valo’s first festival.

There is plenty of space to play at the trotting-track camping site with laid-back reggae playing in the bacground, everything naturally under the guarding eyes of the parents. Some disagreements about bed times have occured, but that is often the case with the older festival audience as well.
