Goldielocks

The Ilosaarirock office was buzzing a year and a half ago – and not without reason. Goldielocks, the indie pop artist originally from Joensuu, was already turning heads and clearly at the start of something big. Fast forward to today: Goldielocks, aka Ella Mäntynen – now based in Berlin and stepping effortlessly towards and onto international stages – has moved well beyond the edge and onto something even greater.

Goldielocks is a singular force – an artist, singer and songwriter like no other. Her breakout hit Made of and second-place finish in Finland’s most watched music show, UMK, was only the opening note. Now the whole world is waiting to see what this distinctively powerful voice will come up with next. Whatever it is, it’s bound to be something big.
