The real gems in festivals can often be found from small stages, as it was with Your Friend George, a local band which opened the truck stage for Sunday.
Diverse, light music and stories, told by a personal and beautiful female voice reminding of material by Pretenders.
The audience is interested but shy, and due a short rain during the set, part of the audience fled to the tents nearby. In contrast to the otherwise rather peaceful and serene gig, the encore was a rather captivating performance. Warm recommendations.
