Voltas and the mannerisms of rock
One of the best things common to all the performers at the truck stage is their enthusiasm for performing. There’s absolutely no chance of seeing tired and bored stars, who are bribed to play something on stage.
This is also very evident with Voltas, who were described as “mouth open rock” before the gig, which proved to be quite accurate. The boys had rehearsed all the necessary mannerisms well, such has shaking your hip and swinging the microphone stand.
Music-wise Voltas offered mostly ordinary guitar-driven rock, which the audience received with open arms, as people were dancing and partying in front of the stage.
