The second largest Ilosaarirock in history has come to an end

A sold-out Sunday propelled us to the second largest attendance in our festival's history – thank you to everyone who celebrated with us!

The sold-out final day of Ilosaarirock brought 24,500 guests to Joensuu's Laulurinne. This raised the total attendance for the weekend to 70,500 people, marking the second largest crowd in the over 50-year history of Ilosaarirock.

– If Saturday at Ilosaarirock was perfect, the just-concluded Sunday felt even greater. The weather was incredible, and everything ran smoothly despite the near-record crowds. This might have been the best day of our lives, as PMMP, who closed our festival weekend, would say, summed up our executive director Niina.

Ilosaarirock will be celebrated next at Laulurinne from July 18th to 20th, 2025. A limited batch of tickets for next summer's event will go on sale through the Ilosaarirock mobile app on Tuesday, July 16th at 10:00 AM. The price for the three-day BFF tickets sold via the app is €150, and three-day VIP tickets are €260.

General ticket sales for the event will begin 48 hours later on Thursday, July 18th at 10:00 AM. From July 18th, the price for a three-day Friend ('Ystävä') ticket will be €160, and a three-day VIP ticket will be €270. Tickets will be available until July 31st, 2024, or until they sell out.
