Their first live gig ever and the biggest name of Finland’s playlists for 2010. These were the settings for YleX- stages second act Pariisin Kevät (Spring of Paris).
The expectations were high and YleX- stage was packed full when Pariisin Kevät took the stage. The band’s frontman Arthur Tunes aka. Arto Tuunela had been turning down gig requests through out the year but the one from Ilosaarirock was one he couldn’t resist. The band’s happiness to release their love to the open air was visible and the act suprisingly relaxed. Pariisin Kevät with their smooth melodies hit the crowd like million volts and a singalong was created from the first seconds onward. When looking at the fantastic atmospehere in YleX- stage it made one wonder why the band had been shy about live performances. When Tuunela wanted the crowd to put hands up in the air it happened in a flash and often even without asking. A succesfull premier indeed.
