At Sue-stage the crowd is waiting for something in complete silence; the Belgian punk-metal group Rise and Fall is on the stage with their backs turned to the crowd and then: explosion! Raw energy streams from the stage to audience and a total devastation overwhelms the area, rocking the earth and eardrums.
The group’s energy levels were very high and weak-hearted might’ve had health issues at the gig. Front row of the stage evolved into a circle-pit while rest of the crowd were frozen by the sheer power of the performance.
The show grew more and more intense as it progressed, and the crowd were showered with water. Smoke machines filled the stage with smoke, making it resemble a “Belgian steam sauna”, hosted by the members of Rise and Fall.
After the set, the group left to catch their breath for a while, and returned for an encore, encouraged by raging thunderous applause.
Quoth the speaker of Sue-stage: “Phew, that really was something, thank you Rise and Fall!”
