Fine Absoluuttinen Nollapiste

One of the finest moments in life are those, when you can take something seriously and smile at the same time. The interpretation of this definition could mean that the gigs by Absoluuttinen Nollapiste are either “like that” or “fun.”Tommi Liimatta’s distinct style to sing and stand peacefully with the mic stand is – how to say it – unabridged. The produly self-ironic soloing of guitarist Aki Lääkkölä is wonderful for both ears and eyes. Drummer Tomi Krutsin’s shirtless presence comes with the ticket price, but his aerobic-dancing behind the drum set made many to laugh aloud. The beauty of the band, bassplayer Aake Otsala, sang a beautiful ballad by himself, but avoided the title of a princess by changing his instrument without the help from a technician.

The gigs of Absoluuttinen Nollapiste are not gigs of orgastic trance, as the music moves from landscape to another quite often. And all these landscapes are well in control of the band, which makes the experience one very pleasant and worth remembering. A full-packed Sue-tent couldn’t agree more. Or briefly put: awesome concert.
