The dead promises of Silverbullit
Silverbullit, who hail from Gothenburg, Sweden, had to perform with an incomplete lineup after their second guitarist had failed to depart from Norway.
Perhaps it was the lack of stronger guitar presence which caused the general apathy among the small numbers of audience in tent three, or perhaps it was just the messed up sounds and failed attempts to ‘rock’, but generally the group just could not live up to the set expectations and fulfill the promises made by all the praise in music media about their albums.
The attitude of Silverbullit had nothing wrong, but even the stage act of the frontman Simon Ohlsson and his voice, from time to time reminding of “L.A. Woman”-era The Doors, were not enough this time. Hopefully we’ll see the boys from our neighbouring country in a better shape next time.
