Rise your fists with Raised Fist
Raised Fist are always welcome to Ilosaarirock. This year the Swedish energy discharge had the chance of testing the durability of the new third tent, which barely survived this attack.
The band has calmed down a bit, but even the new songs like “Perfectly Broken” and “Some of These Times” work live with extreme intensity, and were further elevated to new heights by the new drummer, Matte Modin. Despite of the music being overly aggressive, the spirit in the audience was good, and those who fell down, were quickly helped back up by the fellow members of the audience.
The whole show received an appropriate ending with a wildly moving circle pit during the encore songs. After seeing Raised Fist live, you knew you had been to a gig by an uncompromising hardcore act. Here’s a band who never fails.
