Damn The Damned
In the good old days The Damned used to hang around with The Sex Pistols and The Clash and the band was supposed to hair the crown as The Punk band. Now we know this didn’t come true and these days the band is most famous of their Bono look-alike lead singer David Vanian.
Luckly The Damned knows were they stand in the modern punk scene. Band members weren’t afraid to self irony as the band’s guitarist Captain Sensible joked about his hair loss. This summs up the band’s attitude on stage. Laid back-, we know what we are- attitude worked well for these punk legends. Yet the band is far from giving up. To prove this they rock the crowd wiht such classics as Jet Boy Jey Girl and New Rose.
