A first look at Finnish audience

More or less by accident I bumped into a Finnish girl that has spent the last year in Austria and just came back to her home country.

While I was thinking that the atmosphere was pretty good here and that the audience is doing great she told me something totally different. After having experienced the cheerful Middle Europeans at festivals she thinks now different about her Finnish fellows here and that the audience is too much into that ‘Finnish silence’ thing.

I don’t agree with her, but still I am wondering - where all the dancing people and crowd surfers that you can find at every festival?
While visiting a mate at the First Aid tent the staff of the Red Cross gave me their answer to my question. For them it’s obvious that Finnish festival folks prefers drinking to dancing and crowd surfing.
But maybe, the alcohol also gets some of the people to start dancing . . .

Let’s see what the day will still bring and don’t forget ‘keep on rockin’.
