If the audience hadn’t woken up before, after Stella they weren’t sleeping for sure. The band was in high spirits and managed to gather a pretty respectable amount of people to hear their message. As the guitarist Janne said, “I’ve been to Ilosaarirock 13 times and have always dreamt of playing here.” You sure could believe him.

The real wake-up call was their second song, Totuuden henki, the first single from the band’s sophomore album. The biggest applause was reserved for Piste, their monster hit from their first album. The people were singing along and cheering all through the gig.

Marja’s gentle vocals graced the sunny afternoon. The mood was enhanced by soap bubbles floating over the audience. The band’s boys were on fire, especially the lead guitarist Heikki. Should you want to nitpick, the guitar was a bit out-of-tune in the encore.
