Sirkus Supiainen’s RauKat is a contemporary circus performance about a world where artists – and art itself – have ended up in a sorry state, through no fault of their own. But even in bleak times, art never truly dies. Quite the opposite. Or as Juha Sipilä once put it: “Scarcity breeds creativity.”
