5000 euros to charity

Joensuu Pop Musicians Association, which owns Ilosaarirock Festival and Restaurant Kerubi, has donated 5 000 euros to Hope – Yhdessä & Yhteisesti ry. The donation will support Hope’s hobby assistance program in Joensuu.

This joint donation from Joensuu Pop Musicians Association, Ilosaarirock, and Kerubi will be allocated in full to helping local low-income or crisis-affected families. The focus is on enabling children and young people to pursue music as a hobby.

Hope – Yhdessä & Yhteisesti ry offers hobby support to children and youth aged 6–17 who are covered by Finland's social security system. The assistance is intended for regular hobbies and can be applied for if a child’s hobby is at risk of ending or if starting a hobby isn’t financially feasible.
