20+ new acts announced

Mongolian throat singing, viral indie pop, the grandfathers of British rap, and a whole bunch of international and Finnish stars – the lineup for summer's best weekend just got even bigger and better!
Wait's over, you brilliant and brilliantly impatient festival people – we're adding over 20 new artists to the 2025 lineup! Among the fresh additions are The HU (MN), a band that blends traditional Mongolian throat singing with rock and metal; indie pop sensation Artemas (UK), who shot to global fame with the viral hit i like the way you kiss me; and the unstoppable drill rap duo Pete & Bas (UK) – the legendary granddads of British rap.
Our international roster also gets a boost with post-hardcore sensation Caskets (UK), making their long-awaited Finland debut, and the fierce, fast-rising rock duo Nova Twins (UK).
And that’s not all – the Finnish lineup is expanding in a big way, too! Making a triumphant return to Laulurinne after her electrifying Ilosaarirock debut last summer is the iconic Kaija Koo. Joining her are some of Finland’s most acclaimed rock acts, including Michael Monroe, Sara, and Von Hertzen Brothers, as well as festival favorite Vesterinen Yhtyeineen. The lineup also features pop artists painting outside the lines – Benjamin, HUGO, Bee, and Jaakko Kulta – and Finnish indie’s undisputed frontrunner, Antti Autio. Representing the many shades of Finnish rap are Ege Zulu, Senya, Korelon, and Lyttä & Tohtori Getto, while first-timers Edicti and LINDA are set to make their Ilosaarirock debut.
"We’re absolutely buzzing about today’s artist announcement!" says our promoter Panu. "This lineup includes acts we’ve been dreaming of bringing to Laulurinne for years, like The HU and Nova Twins, plus the very best Finnish artists from Kaija Koo to Michael Monroe. Pete & Bas are pure joy, and we’ve also got artists that our audience has been asking, or rather, begging for – Korelon, Jaakko Kulta and Lyttä & Tohtori Getto. It’s an incredible mix of diverse, surprising, and unmistakably Ilosaarirock-fitting music."
Well said, Panu – what a lineup!
