Please also check your spam folder if you haven’t received a message from us.<\/p>\n This year, we received far more applications than there are volunteer positions available at Ilosaarirock. Unfortunately, this means not everyone could join the best staff of the summer.<\/p>\n If we couldn’t offer you a position but you’re still interested in volunteering, you can reach out to the Ilosaarirock team at henkilosto@ilosaarirock.fi<\/a> to inquire about any possible cancellations. Please note that fulfilling specific shift requests might not be possible with cancellation spots.<\/p>\n Detailed information regarding assignments will be sent to all selected volunteers before their volunteering begins.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tGood to know<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t All volunteers at Ilosaarirock receive a volunteer wristband, which serves as identification and access pass to the festival area throughout the event weekend. During times when you’re not on volunteer duty, you can enjoy the festival atmosphere and attend gigs.<\/p>\n Each volunteer is given a special volunteer shirt that changes annually, making it easy to spot the summer’s best staff. The shirt is worn only during volunteer shifts because the world’s best volunteers should stand out. Volunteers are welcome to take the shirt home as a memento.<\/p>\n All volunteers get to enjoy warm home-cooked meals in the Ilosaarirock staff dining area during their volunteer shifts. When applying to volunteer, please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements to ensure suitable and delicious food is available for everyone.<\/p>\n The break room, also known as ”Taukotupa,” serves as a caf\u00e9 for volunteers and staff working at Ilosaarirock. Throughout the festival, coffee and tea are available, and snacks can be purchased at a self-paid price.<\/p>\n Volunteers coming from outside the city center of Joensuu have the option to stay in Ilosaarirock’s communal accommodation. Please indicate your accommodation needs in the volunteer application form. Ilosaarirock provides accommodation in the communal space only for the duration of the weekend volunteer shifts.
