Last year, Lost Society lost their Ilosaarirock virginity. That time only handful of people witnessed their fantastic gig at the Rekkalava stage. This year the word had spread and the Rekkalava stage was packed as the Finnish trash metal phenomena came and conquered.
One might have thought Lost Society’s gig couldn’t get any faster, louder and deadlier. They proved us wrong. Full attack from the very start and the audience gave their hearts out. From the very first minute at least half of the crowd went into the pit, creating a big dust cloud in the air. No need for a smoke machine. Samy Elbanna‘s energetic and sincere performance is heart warming and the whole band works like a well-oiled engine. Comparisons to other Finnish trash legends Stone can be forgotten, Lost Society has grown great deal in a year and they have all ingredients for success. Hopefully more and more people become aware of this trash metal phenomena. If Lost Society keeps progressing at this pace, the Rekkalava stage will be too small for them next year.
