Name Mokoma in the band sheet always means quality. The band has been building their carreer in such determination that their success isn’t just coincidence. The same determination is visible when Mokoma takes the stage. The wide-ranging audience from small babies to old time heavy rockers got much more than what they came for. The opening act at YleX- stage set the bar high for following performances.
Mokoma shoot the pace for the ocean of fists and hands in YleX- stage. A unique atmosphere between the band and the audience was visible at the venue. Mokoma took the full advantage of this. At times it felt like the act should have been called Mokoma and friends as the audience sang every song with the band during their diamond quality set list which included hits through out the band’s carreer. Without a doubt this must’ve been Mokoma’s best gig in their Ilosaarirock history and there could have not been a better way to start the day at YleX- stage.
