Journeymen is a seven-strong roots reggae band from Pietarsaari, Western Finland. The moving force behind them is the belief that music can have an effect on the society, and this belief is reflected in their songs that shun the usual empty feel-good blah blah of popular music. Instead, their lyrics praise universally significant matters such as common solidarity, equality and love. A freshly released debut album Time to Grow under their belts, this combo wants to make their audience think – but just as good old Emma Goldman used to say, a revolution is no good if it doesn't make you dance.
