FLIES AROUND THE LIGHT
Flies Around the Light consists of four young men from Joensuu and plays, according to their own words, indie rock with prog rock flavour, citing such bands as Muse and Interpol as their main influences. In addition to modern resources, the band also finds inspiration for their melodies from the past and from the very fountainhead of modern popular music.
Flies Around the Light has played together in their present line-up since the year 2006. Their melancholic, but in no way sorrowful music is just the ticket for the End of the Festival club – for that bittersweet moment when the tent has been packed up, but the train is not leaving just yet.
