DALINDÈO

There are never too many bands like Dalindèo around. They mix their music with a handful of elements from bossa nova and jazz, ending up with a result that is cool beyond measure. The group, only four years old, is not ashamed to borrow musical ingredients from their apparent influences, but is at the same time also perfectly updated to today's rhythms.

Besides seeing them play live, Dalindèo's supreme sense of elegance can best be admired by listening their two maxi singles Poseidon (2005) and Go Ahead, Float (2006) or their first full-length album Open Scenes, released earlier this year. The only trouble is that after hearing these records, your expectations for this summer's Ilosaarirock surely go through the ceiling.
